I've been asked quite a lot of times why I hadn't put up any pictures of my new ride yet. There's still a couple of things missing such as the Audi logos for the rims, at least I got the alarms installed yesterday, this is now officially the most secure car in Denmark, sporting a Viper 5000XL, Cobra CONNEX GPS/GSM tracker and a Credex VGS MK-III smoke machine :D Yes, those plates are mine :)
$6.000 an hour

First off, let me give you the good news. I just bought a new car. A '2000 Audi TT 1,8T to be precise. The bad news however is that I'm 21 years old, only got about one and a half years seniority and at last, I'm male. Those three properties make up for a worst case scenario for any insurance application form. Anyways, here's a chronological list of the insurance companies I called and their reponses: Tryg Tryg was able to offer me an impressive price of 94.000 kroners ($16.337) per year. Thats roughly 1/3 the price of...
Gods gift to mankind

Do you smell that? It's empty coke cans, son. Nothing else in the world smells like that. I love the smell of empty coke cans in the morning. I think I may have an addiction... At least I'm brushing up on my artistic side by creating larger and larger monstrosities from the remnants of my drinking. Isn't it funny, every seven years (give or take, at least in Denmark) the yoyo seems to become a hit. There can be long periods of time where nobody even knows what a yoyo is, but then suddenly, everybody's playing...
The beginning of a new life

Ah, the feeling of getting up a 5 AM, lovely! *cough* Ok, let me be perfectly honest with you, I am no early riser by default! I thrive by staying up until 5 AM in the morning while sleeping until I wake, whenever that is, very rarely before noon and never before sunrise. That's going to change. I have always been a fan of productivity. I hate having nothing to do. I hate being inefficient. I hate having only 24 hours a day. I have always been intrigued by the Uberman sleep schedule, but I am also...
Santana

When I went to bed yesterday (after the Main Event) at around 7 AM, I didn't think of setting my clock. I mean, I didn't have to get up before around 5-6 PM, I'd be long awake before that. Anyways, someone knocks on my door hard while I sleep. I look at my cellphone to see the time, my eyes are all hazy. Hot damn, it's like 6:25 PM, yikes, I guess I really needed that sleep. We had to be at the MGM Grand at 7:30 PM since we were going to see Santana live that night. ...
Grand Canyon trip
Written on Wednesday, July 26, 2006 by Mark S. Rasmussen in Poker, Life
So today we decided to take a trip to the Grand Canyon just outside Las Vegas. I've been to the Grand Canyon once before on an earlier trip when I was seven, but honestly I couldn't remember it that well besides it being hot as hell and, well, grand. We took the large package consisting of a 40 minute flight in a small plane that took us over the Grand Canyon to a small indian run airfield on top of the Grand Canyon edge, a busride along the edge of the Grand Canyon, a helicopter trip into...
